Le Personne Care Homes
Le Personne Homes in Caterham, Surrey has been providing sheltered accommodation to retired women since 1952. The 43 one-bedroom apartments provide a warm and friendly environment for the residents, giving them a sense of independence and security.Â
Le Personne Homes had been using a local authority response centre for their telecare and careline provision. However, budget restraints at the local authority resulted in a drop in service levels and the trustees decided to search for a new careline provider.
Moving to Telecare24 was a seamless process and we are really happy with the service we have received. All the staff have been incredibly helpful and the residents are now receiving a really high level of careline service.
Kathy Wade, House Manager
After lengthy discussions, the board of trustees selected Telecare24 as their careline provider and awarded a multi-year contract. Le Personne Homes retained their existing dispersed alarms so Telecare24 arranged for each unit to be remotely reprogrammed and the service was successfully migrated in just one day.
Telecare24 took great care in producing a comprehensive protocol agreement that followed the ethos of the trust, ensuring that the residents received a service level beyond that of their previous supplier.
Telecare24 arranged for a visit from Dr Hilary Jones who spent half a day with the residents, discussing with them ways to stay independent as well as reinforcing the importance of how the careline alarm system from Telecare24 can help them stay independent for longer.
