Telecare24 is proud to announce that it has secured a significant long-term commercial contract with Cognatum Estates, one of the UK’s leading retirement living and estate management companies.
Under the agreement, Telecare24 will manage the full analogue-to-digital transition across all 57 Cognatum estates, replacing existing careline alarms with modern, fully digital telecare solutions. The programme also includes the upgrade of fire detection systems across approximately 1,300 individual properties, ensuring long-term resilience, compliance, and continuity of service ahead of the analogue switch off in the UK.
In addition to the equipment upgrade, Telecare24 will become Cognatum Estates’ single, integrated telecare monitoring provider, handling all emergency calls from residents across the portfolio. Previously, monitoring services were delivered by multiple providers; consolidating this into a single, trusted partner delivers greater operational efficiency, improved reliability, and a consistent standard of care for residents.
Stewart Smith, Co-Founder and Sales Director at Telecare24, commented:
“This partnership represents a major milestone in Telecare24’s continued growth. We are delighted to have been selected by Cognatum Estates to deliver their analogue-to-digital transition at scale, and to be entrusted with the responsibility of handling all resident emergency calls. Our focus has always been on delivering reliable, cost-effective telecare services without compromising on compassion or responsiveness, and this partnership reflects that commitment.”
Sharon Taylor, Director of Operations at Cognatum Estates, added:
At Cognatum, we selected Telecare24 for their proven service quality, extensive nationwide coverage, and seamless compatibility with our existing infrastructure. Their cost-effective solution enables us to uphold the highest standards of care and responsiveness for our residents. This partnership is particularly significant as the UK transitions from analogue to digital systems. Telecare24’s specialist expertise ensures we are well positioned to provide reliable, future proof support across our estates, now and in the years ahead.
As the UK-wide analogue switch-off accelerates, with full migration expected by January 2027, it is increasingly important for organisations supporting older and vulnerable residents to ensure their telecare infrastructure is digitally ready. Cognatum Estates’ proactive approach demonstrates leadership in safeguarding continuity of service, resident safety, and long-term value — and Telecare24 is proud to support that.
Installation work is scheduled to commence in January 2026, with completion expected by April 2026.
